Elroy Bike Meet

June 9th, 2007

We left around 10:30 and headed out for Elroy.  Rode through Baraboo where we stopped for a break at the local Kwik Trip (big surprise).  Ran into Jerry Helbing so we visited for a short time.  Then we headed out toward Reedsburg where we stopped for lunch at Culvers.  Rode the rest of the way to Elroy along some nice roads.  We were a little disappointed when we arrived because there was nobody there.  A few bikes and a few vendors, but that was it.  So we took off on a ride around the area.  Had a great ride and ran into a lot of bikers at a fuel brake.  Found ourselves back in Elroy where we stayed for a short time before deciding it was a dud and heading out for home.

Back at the Elroy Bike Meet - the place was like a ghost town so we didn't stay very long.
